The norm at any funeral you attend today, these tributes replaced funeral cards. Funeral sheets can sometimes be a wealth of information, when normal genealogical sources are not available. These sheets include members’ contributions and funeral director’s copies 2004-2006 and 2014-2016, reflecting the lives of people born in the 20th and 21st centuries. Jpg or PDF images are available. For a full copy of any entry fill out our research form. Copies are $1 each as a donation.

History of older Funeral Cards
Funeral Service Cards have a long history and are usually over looked by family history researchers. They can often lead researchers to the death entry and an obituary. Sometimes both the birth and death dates are on the card.

They were distributed to family members, friends and others in the community in a timely manner to alert people of the time and date of the funeral. Recipients of funeral cards were expected to attend the funeral or risk offending the deceased family members.
